[The bad news is that Silver (and Gold's) room is open. It's full of plenty of (Gold's) clothes to get into trouble with to boot.

The good news is that Silver and his Pokémon (or, well, Feraligatr and Weavile) are lounging in said room and see Axew as welcome company when it comes in. They even wave at it and everything. Come on in, buddy.]
